[PSL with @loonylupin]

Sirius glanced about the new city with a look that seemed to be increasingly confused, though also admittedly a little awestruck. Sure, yes, he'd paid attention during the briefing at the docks, but he'd also kind of assumed that that little lecture was all some elaborate dream and that he would wake up at any moment.

But it wasn't and he hadn't, and here he was, and this -- this was certainly not London.

He still had the welcome materials in his hand, but he was a little bit too much in shock to read them. So instead he glanced at the streets around him, wondering which way to go first.

"The last thing we need is it to get in the hands of one of the teachers." Remus said mildly, stifling a laugh at the utter look of horror on his friend's face. It really might be one of the funnier things that he's seen.

"You have chocolate frogs on you? Let me have one." Because it was telling that the first thing you wanted in a new place was the familiar, and the familiar was always chocolate. Also, he was hungry. Remus held his hand out for one of those as he slid his own wand out of his pocket.

"What would we do without our wands?" He smiled. "Like the one time you forgot yours for charms, and you tried to convince the professor you could do magic without it, in what, our second year?"
